Lucky + Lovely

Sneak peek of me on the job styling and making flowers for a gorgeous farm wedding in North Georgia. Carly, the bride knew exactly what she wanted : A Chic Southern Wedding complete with Southern Fried chicken, Bowties, Cotton and her favorite snack – Hot Boiled Peanuts. Carly’s family owns a beautiful property complete with horses, chickens and a main house that looks like its out of the pages of Southern Living. I can’t wait to share more images with you taken by the delightful and talented Cameron Freshwater Photography.  It was a fun day for me and my right hand Eboné…but for now, here is a photo Eboné snapped of me in action…see the chandelier in front of the porta-potties? Love it!! Follow me and Eboné on Pinterest to see our current obsessions…xoxo

Hi darlings, I know i missed wedding wednesdays but, hold on to your seat for the loveliest little wedding I ever saw. The sweet folks at White Rabbit Studios captured the sunshiney Alabama day and were kind enough to email me about it. Yep, I sure do love a good ole bunting filled wedding with billy ball boutonierres and a sweet cheeked bride with so much love in her eyes for her beau. I think I just fell in love with yellow and grey all over again…

I’m sort of speechless this morning, I am so excited I found this super stylish wedding captured by sweet as pie photog Caroline Fontenot. I cannot wait to share with you all. The color palette is grey, black, yellow-mustard and all executed in an urban chic wedding love style. I couldn’t even believe this wedding took place in Georgia. I seriously want to be friends with this bride. There are so many details. First of all, the bride’s natural hair stole my heart with the braids and twists. You can tell that everything about this wedding just oozes this couples personality. I love the lace necklace and her sassy black gloves paired with the black belt. OK, how about the the paper and babies breath bouquet? Really? Can you say creative? Loving it all. This wedding says, you can have it all. Balloons? Yes you can. Vintage frames, yes. Babies breath? Yes. Sassy belts and mismatched bridesmaids dresses? Yes. Everything, yes and it can be done so stylishly. Take in the pictures and hop on over to Caroline Fontenot‘s and check out her work.

There is nothing like having good girlfriends in life. I absolutely adore one of my good gal pals, Kate of Kate-Belle photography. She is lovely, funny, sweet and we could talk for hours and hours. Kate recently moved here to the States from from Byron Bay, Australia. I always say, Aussies have the best taste and style. Kate sent me this wedding she shot and I am so excited to share with you. When you have a stunning bride, a beautiful backdrop  of a private venue  and chic sparkly gown like this, what’s not to love? I adore the sweet details like the stripey straws, gorgeous florals and LOVE in the grass. I could look at these pictures for hours. Be sure to check out Kate’s blog for more dreamy weddings and some stateside weddings to come! xo

This too cute wedding certainly caught my eye. Being a recent DIY bride myself, I can relate to the obsessive collecting and crafting to create a sweet wedding day. I adore these gorgeous pictures with just too much inspiration to take in all at once. The collected tea cups & saucers that the guests got to take home sent me over the edge. Stephanie’s lovely lace dress and of course she stole my heart wearing our Stella & Dot Sophia Pearl Bib necklace. What a stunner. She really shows how you can inject personality, style and love into your wedding day. Love the fab photography by the Sloans! Must restrain myself from posting every single wedding on their blog.

One of my favorite things about Spring? Shedding off those jackets and sweaters! It’s time to unravel the spring clothes, wherever they may be hidden. And how can you forget the longer days of gorgeous sun?
And even further, how can you forget that it’s wedding season!
I thought I’d start this spring off with a new favorite designer, Priscilla of Boston. They have gorgeous designer wedding dresses and gowns for every bride. If you’re looking for some spring inspiration for your lovely wedding, take a glimpse at these dresses and let me know what your favorite thing about Spring is!

Love this minimal yet heartwarming wedding from our sweet client Chris. She wed her love under a grove of shade trees on a lakeside retreat in Texas. We designed a 3 panel save the dates with a antler chandelier motif and custom calligraphy. She kept the letterpress invitation simple with grey ink on handmade paper with deckled edges. I love the warm glow of the candlelight and Chri’s infectious smile. Sometimes less is more.

I have a major crush on this sweet wedding of Demi and Vince at Viansa Winery in Sonoma County. The bride looks so happy and that smile: POW! I am totally digging the lace dress and the all white bouquet. Blueberry photography did a stunning job of capturing the details from the dessert buffet to the last kiss.  Ooh la la!!! So divine!

What could be more cute than this freckle faced vintage styled bride? Her handsome beau of course! Add in those stunning bridesmaids all decked out in purple, fanciful florals and the chicest kids I have ever seen.  This sweet wedding was captured by Luke Eshelman in perfect vintage style. I love absolutely everything about this wedding, from the brides natural hair to her sexy gown. I adore the rich hot pink and purple flowers and the urban backgrounds of the shots after the wedding. This couple looks so happy, relaxed, natural and full of love. I wish them all the best. {via chocolatebrides.com}
